   Jan 25,  · Unfortunately it's a bind these days though, which is a shame because this is a really excellent quality 'live' album by a band that I saw way back when. Very blues/rock style with some great riffing and especially the great Pete Haycock solo, "Country Hat" which I well remember him playing at the Scarborough Penthouse.4/5(18).

   Very bluesy too but for a live album (which i generally dislike) this one is exceptional. Good arrangement, great vocal harmonies and superb instrumentation make this shine. Drum work is very good also; songs that crank are Country Hat, You Make Me Sick, Shake Your Love/5(59).

   The Climax Blues Band's FM/LIVE album is perhaps the best LIVE album of all time, in my opinion. In their heyday, the Climax Blues Band was one of the most exciting and energetic acts on tour, always eclipsing whatever other act(s) might be on the bill with them/5(3).
